Misty is a SUPER pawesome, all-black, spayed, plush coated, female GSD who is approximately 10-years-young. Misty is like fine cheese (or wine) – AGED to PERFECTION!! Misty has lived her entire life as a much loved pet to her previous “mum and dad”. Unfortunately, they both have passed away and Misty is looking for a new family to call her own. Misty has been vetted, vaccinated and has been on flea/tick and heartworm prevention her entire life (Misty is already spayed and microchipped). Her “mum” passed in April and one of her last wishes was that Misty find a home through Shepherds Without Borders rescue. We want to fulfill that last wish in it’s entirety.
Misty is very healthy and has been an inside dog, except for those trips out to the pasture to RUN! She is very agile and still has OODLES of spunk <3 A sweet girl who seems to like all people, she knows sit, shake, down and stay. Misty takes treats gently, but her real love is the BALL or tug; she is ALLLLL about the ball and would love to have a fenced yard to run around with her favorite Nerf football or a new family to play tug with. Misty has been exposed to a crate, but has been left alone in a house without any issues and is housebroken. Misty would prefer a home without any small things to chase (other than a ball, of course)! Misty rides GREAT in the car and just watches out the window with some breeze in her face <3

Misty has completed polishing off her leash skills with our friends at Pet Village in Salem, Oregon. She has lived with another dog previously (Otis – who has already found his furever home) and will need a slow introduction with a mellow male or to be the princess of her castle <3
