Sometimes, families wait for the right dog, the right time and the right set of circumstances…. Volunteers are no different <3 This family have been repeat fosters for Shepherds Without Borders and have helped several dogs on their journey to fur-ever with the help of the entire family and Duke the GSD.
Enter in Miss Fiona and her 3 siblings as the most recent foster pups and Fiona has claimed the hearts of the entire family, including Duke! Congratulations to the entire family <3
The puppies grew and thrived for several months. Just 5 days after their first outing to the vet, Finley and Felix came down with the parvovirus. We all wept the loses of Felix, Frimunt and Ferryn from the nasty virus and celebrated our successes with Faith, Fiona, Finna and Finley’s return to healthy. We thank our volunteers, our foster family, our supporters, Sacramento Referral Center Veterinary Clinic and our SWB family for their prayers, good vibrations and support through this difficult journey.
