Adopted!!!! Miss Uma Louise has a new family to share!
We are bursting with this news!!! We have a very special adoption to announce!!! Our first puppy rescue has a very special family she would like to share with you!
We could not be happier with her choice!! CONGRATULATIONS Miss UMA LOUISE (Uma-lou) HAPPY ADOPTION and FOREVER FAMILY!
A special thank you to our volunteer Julie for giving Uma a place to be safe and loved while we helped her along her rescue journey
Miss Uma stole so many hearts, including ours, and while there is only one Uma, literally thousands sit on death row with no way out without a foster or adoptive home. Please consider fostering or adopting a rescued dog
Meet Miss Uma Louise – full of puppy sweetness!
This little cutie is an approx 4 month old Black German Shepherd Dog. She has spent the last several weeks in a foster home where she is learning proper house manners and is mostly potty-trained. She is starting to show interest in the water & will put her feet on the top step of the pool! Uma is a young puppy who still has a lot to learn in this big world and she will benefit from a family who will continue her training & socialization. Uma has met a cat and did not show much interest, she likely would learn to accept a kitty as part of her pack. She has exhibited friendly behavior towards the large breed dogs in her foster home & also enjoys playing ball. She would likely do well in a family with children 8 years & older. She also loves to cuddle with her humans & give lots of slobbery puppy kisses! Uma is a very smart girl who is eager to please & would make the perfect addition to the right home. Uma has recently arrived to the PNW and is in a foster home in Washington
