This sweet soul has chosen his adopted family and we are so excited to see him continue to grow and strengthen his body with lots of love added ❤️
Reggie’s past life may have been a little rough, but that doesn’t slow him down a bit!! Reggie is approximately 2-3 years old. He came to the shelter as a stray with a “cord” embedded in his neck and an infected botched “at-home neuter”. Reggie was initially given a body score of 2 out of 9 because he was so thin. He is a happy boy that is all smiles! Reggie has been gaining weight slowly and is up to 66 pounds! His neck is healing nicely though his fur will take some time to come back in <3 He is working on controlling his antennae (though we are not sure if he will hold them erect ever). Reggie is the sweetest boy <3
Reggie has exhibited the ability to get along with other large dogs and does not seem to be interested in cats. Reggie visited our friends at Foothill Farms Veterinary Hospital and has begun his road to recovery!
He has been neutered (complete ablation), microchipped, is heartworm negative, and up to date on vaccines. If you are interested in fostering or adopting a rescued GSD, please apply here: https://shepherdswithoutborders.org/adopt/adoption-application/
