This handsome senior has had a curvy road to his furever and we are SO EXCITED to announce… ADOPTED!!!! CONGRATULATIONS TO KODEE AND HIS NEW FAMILY!
Pupdate: Kodee finished his 2-week board and train and was integrated into a new foster home last week! Kodee has exhibited the ability to be around other dogs, but pefers a female dog as a packmember. We do not know if Kodee has been exposed to small dogs. Kodee would prefer a home without kitties to chase. He walks on a leash well (gotta love that training), obeys voice commands and is housebroken. He prefers to sleep in his “cave” (aka crate) at night, but is not destructive if left out.
Kodee is neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, heartworm negative (on prevention) and mirochipped. This boy is PURE LOVE <3 LOVES to carry his plushie “frens” wherever he goes. Kodee, an 8-year-young, healthy, sweet boy was recently adopted, but unfortunately, was returned a few months later. When Shepherds Without Borders rescue commits to rescuing a dog, that is what we do; we stand behind our promise.
Currently, Kodee is spending 2 weeks (he is one week into his training) in a board and train program at Huffman K9 and excelling!!! BOW-WOW out to the entire team at Huffman K9 for helping provide awesome training to this handsome hunk – likely, for the first time in his life! He is a stunning boy who wants to please, loves car rides and walks and gives you his paw or a lean in for a “hem-lo”. He lived previously with a female GSD and did well with her. We do not know if Kodee has been exposed to a cat or small dogs in the past. He is STUNNING and is a wonderful companion <3

Kodee rides in the car well. He can accompany you out in public. He has exhibited the ability to get along with other medium-to-large dogs. We do not know if Kodee has ever met a cat. He has the BRIGHTEST SMILE <3
