This handsome BIG boy attracted a lot of attention with his good looks and goofy smile, but, with happy tail jubilation, we say “CONGRATULATIONS” to Jaeger and his new foster-turned-forever family 
Jaeger was an owner surrender to a FULL shelter in Stockton, CA. As such, he was tagged for euthanasia (there was no owner to try and locate and no room). Jaeger was neutered, completed his vaccines and attended training in California before coming to the PNW. Jaeger is a stunning all-black male GSD – this boy stands tall and is probably not yet done growing. He is approximately 1-2 years and about 85 pounds of energy and spunk! He is up-to-date on vaccines, crate-trained, house-trained, microchipped, neutered and heartworm negative (on prevention). While Jaeger has had some exposure to training, he will need his new family to continue training with him. He has oodles of young energy and will require some type of exercise every day. Jaeger is NOT kitty or small dog approved. He has shown the ability to co-exist with another dog in the home (female preferred). Thanks to Weston and staff at Canine Purpose (caninepurpose.com) in Loomis, California – Jaeger has some GREAT skills to take to his new home!! Jaeger is a 1-2 year old, stunning, active boy and will need to exercise and have continued training (as MOST young GSDs do) with his new family. Jaeger is neutered, up to date on vaccines, heartworm negative (on prevention) and microchipped. Jaeger is housebroken and crate trained (though he would rather be out with his person)!!
He LOVES to run and requires room/yard to do so – he would be a good candidate for doggy sports or an avid runner or hiker. Jaeger is currently in foster with another trainer/foster, Myra of Canines on Course (caninesoncourse.com), to keep him engaged and challenged – thank you Myra!!

Jaeger comes to rescue from Stockton Animal Shelter and is currently being fostered in the greater-Sacramento area at this time. A STUNNING all-black GSD, he is approximately 1-2 years old. He is housebroken, crate trained, heartworm negative, microchipped and UTD on vaccines. He is scheduled to be neutered in the very near future.
Jaeger has a moderate amount of that good ole fashioned young-energy and loves to play with his furry foster sister (medium-large dogs). Jaeger currently is being fostered with a small dog as well, but has very limited access; we do not know about his previous or current ability to interact with small furry things (cats, small dogs, farm animals, birds).
While at his foster home, he is learning about entering/exiting and riding in a car, walking on a leash, going to the vet – all things that seem fairly new to him. Jaeger will need training, as most GSDs do, to be the BEST doggo he can be <3
